
Feed Your Curly Hair Some L-O-V-E
Here at Kozma Curl, we know healthy and happy hair starts from the inside. Sip on this refreshing and yummy smoothie and give your curly hair a boost of nutrients! This recipe puts us in a tropical mood.
Curly Hair Smoothie Recipe
- 1 1/2 Cup Raw Spinach
- 1 Tbs Raw Virgin Coconut Oil
- 1 Tbs Flaxseed
- 1 Tbs Chia seed
- 1/2 Cup Frozen berries
- 1/2 Large Banana
- 1/2 A Orange
- Pinch of Cinnamon
- 1 Large Pineapple Ring
- Juice freshly squeezed from 1 large lemon
- 1 1/2 Cup Soy Milk
- 1 ice cube
Instructions
Add to blender and blend until smooth. Enjoy immediately. If you have leftover and don’t want to waste, pour into a popsicle mould and pop in the freezer for a frozen treat to enjoy later.

Spinach
Spinach is a super food which contains omega-3, potassium, vitamins B, C and E and calcium, magnesium and iron. All which are essential for strong strands.
Coconut Oil

Flaxseed
Flaxseed contain a rich source of Omega-3 fatty acids which nourish follicles and help to prevent breakage by strengthening the strands.
Chia Seed
These little guys contain an abundance of phosphorous, an ingredient proven to speed up hair growth. Chia translates to “strength” in the ancient language of the mayans- and this civilization was on to something. These bitty seeds are rich in fiber, protein and calcium.
Berries
